London by night May 2016

Ryan and I were very excited to see London by night!

Sights of London May 2016

We spent the day being tourists.... We all had fun! Even the real tourists that were with us.

The meridian line deviding east from west.... Some had trouble deciding what side of the line to be on!

The view from the Emirates air line cable car, it's clear to see that it was not a bright sunny day....

Eden and Ryan seemed to be the only two willing to play with silly photos with me!

Trying to decide which is more iconic .... The phone box or the mail box....

Even after a cold wet rainy day.... Still smiling!

Black County Park - May 2016

Today was our first full day with Carolyn, Cole and Ryan visiting. Each time family come to visit it is always interesting to find the balance of showing them the tourist sites that everyone wants to see and sharing with them the places that we love.... Often not so touristic.

Black County Park is one of this wonders that you drive 20 minutes out of the city and you feel like you are hours away. A walk through the forest and around the lake to find the adventure playground.... And of course the ice cream and coffee shop!

Here are a few pics of some of the fun of the day....

Ireland 2016 Day 5

Well, today was the last day of our trip and early tomorrow morning we are off in our various directions.

This week has been an amazing privilege to travel for 5 days around such a beautiful place with my mom and sister.

[in the above picture with us are Mickey & Kathleen Walker, the lovely friends who hosted us this week]

Ireland 2016 Day 3

Ireland 2016 Day 4

Today we left Galway and headed towards the Cliffs of Moher, I have never seen them before and was completely amazed by there beauty!!! If you ever get the chance to visit them, don't miss it!!! These two pictures only depict a small concept of the beauty that God has created in the Cliffs of Moher.

After leaving the cliffs we headed to Limerick, this is where the book Angela's Ashes was written. We had a great lunch and fun walking around, the town is very grey and almost feels forgotten when you see the beauty of the towns and villages around it.

We then headed to Waterford. This city is most famous for making the "Wateford Crystal". The city is beautiful with a river running through it and many old heritage building.

The people are fabulous, friendly and lots of fun.... Here are some of the people we met,

We ended our day in a very Irish way, and are again looking forward to what we find tomorrow....

Well, today was such a treat! My mom and I took a cheap flight from London to Dublin and met my sister Tracy who flew over from Ottawa!!! Mom turned 65 this year and has always wanted to see Ireland, so what better time than now!

After arriving at the airport we spent some time wandering around the city then off to see the friends we are staying with.  We had a lovely evening with Mickey and Kathleen.... But now the fun begins....although you will have to wait until tomorrow to find out what we did!

UK Mothering Sunday

Today in the UK is Mothering Sunday... Look at the beautiful flower my wonderful children bought me.....
The immediate family joke was... oh, i wonder how long it will take mom to kill it?  A sad but true reality for my children!

Easter Outreach Team

Spring Outreach Team

Thank you to all of you who have been praying for the preparation and planning for the University Group from Minnesota.  The eight of them arrived yesterday without any issue and have now settled in and are even feeling like they are in the right time zone.  We are still waiting for two to arrive this afternoon from Ireland.

Today (after morning service at St.Pauls) they are off to Speakers Corner this afternoon before attending the Oasis Church plant.

Please continue to pray for rest, strength and energy as the week goes on.
To help keep the team away and adjusting to the correct time zone we took them for a walk in the English weather.... yes, for those of you wondering that does mean a walk in the rain!

A quick pic of our team for the week!
